Caroline Thompson’s Artist Statement

Twenty-five years ago, Caroline Thompson became a serious artist as she confidently walked away from her first professional art class. Determined as always, she immediately installed an artist studio in her home and the journey began.

That journey has included untold art exhibitions with bold, imaginative paintings, which are scattered around the United States. She was an inspiring art teacher for many years, with enthusiastic new and seasoned artists, while living in Boulder, CO; Franklin/Nashville, TN; and Cape Girardeau, MO.

Coming to McKinney, Texas has opened another journey filled with exciting new work, meeting new collectors, and having a personal studio at the renowned MillHouse McKinney.

The McKinney, Texas experience is just beginning as her artistic creations are enjoyed and they find new homes.
